Why doesn’t Cane’s do coupons?

Does Raising Cane’s feel like they are above doing coupons? Why have they never instituted them?

For the way they have raised prices on dwindling portion sizes, you have to feel like their business may take a downturn. They may have to resort to coupons eventually.

Been seeing this said forever. Had Canes a week ago and the fingers were huge.

They should be the size of tic-tacs by now.

Even if they did offer coupons, they’d still be overcharging you.

When I worked there back in the late 00s we definitely had coupons we could hand out if we thought someone deserved it. We also did the whole One Love thing from the cups and they had free stuff (mostly toast).

They don’t need to do coupons. Coupons are designed to bring in customers. My local canes’ drive through line wraps completely around the building ever day at mealtime.

My first experience with Cane's was during one of their prize promotions when you pulled off the little tabs on drink cups. I "won" but complained to my wife that a sauce is not a prize. So I immediately decided Cane's was very tight with their money and we rarely eat at Cane's when "a sauce is not a prize" does not get uttered.

Coupons and specials devalue the product or pull curtains back on costs. The product is what it is and costs what it costs. That product has human labor cost at all levels attached to it, from hatching to serving.

Does not apply to beer or liquor.

Eta: canes does more promotional specials in baton rouge than basically anyone in the territority other than dominos so OP is an absolute tard

The same reason Tiffany’s doesn’t do sales. Those who want it and can afford it will buy it.

This is pretty exaggerated on here. Chicken also isnt cheap. Go to any chicken place. None of them are cheap. A decent sized meal at Popeyes is $10. Wing places are all expensive

Those prices won't go down even though chicken is at pre-pandemic prices

In 2019 at midweek LSU baseball games, if LSU scored 5 or more runs, they'd offer bogo on anything at Canes throughout the next business day with a ticket stub.

Twice that season, we fed two families of 4(three teenagers) for the price of two Caniacs.

That was a sweet deal for dedicated Tiger Baseball Fans. Long gone.

That’s not nice. Also, I’m not in Baton Rouge.

Why isn’t there a Canes in the Canes River Center. Could have used some overpriced chicken fingers when I was several beers deep at the hockey game on Monday.

We were wondering the same thing. I dunno if they trust that place to serve chicken right

I eat lunch out at the office every day of the week. A Cane’s 3 finger mean is one of the cheaper options I get. They don’t have to do coupons when it’s always packed. Their sales are in the billions every year.

The reality behind couponing is that it doesn’t work. What it does is conditions people to only eat at a place when there is a coupon.

Just sent out an email bogo for their anniversary for Candace members. Also do that on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
