Someone mentioned a few pages back that they look in the CBD (NOLA) for whiskey, anywhere decent to check out? I started working in the CBD back in Nov.

There are a few places I tend to look. Vieux Carre wine and spirits and Kieffe on Howard Ave. Both have pretty small selections but both have some decent stuff from time to time.
You can also check Martins and Ellio's uptown

Oh and I passed by the new place nearby a few of us (will be next to Agave) that is supposedly one of the cigar bar/lounges going up. Building permit has "The Grouse House" listed as the owner. Anyone haveore info on it?

Supposedly they've (one of the two cigar bars opening) been competing with us for our supply of bourbon. So I plan on draining their supply.
