Unc what did you not like about it?

It tastes like jet fuel. I love barrel proofers, they're my favorite... But this just isn't good.. Especially for 50.

It's basically barrel proof Buffalo trace. I love Buffalo trace at 90 proof, but it doesn't have the quality to drink at barrel proof strength Imo.

I've only hosted one tasting before and everything went great. But I'm hosting another next month and I wanted advice. If the group of bourbons has no theme and is eclectic, do you order them in any certain way?

I'm thinking wheated first. Then working towards higher rye and proof.

Makes sense to me. I'd definitely keep BP stuff and ryes for last.. Don't wanna cook taste buds early on

There will be a couple "uninitiated" guys there. The Thomas H Handy at the end should be fun.

Little JackD is adorable...he's rocking those jeans...but they are dangerously close to cargos

I keeed I keeed....

Agree about the Stagg Jr. Tasted it at a bar....wouldn't buy a bottle.

Hope everyone is having a good evening

Nice, I've obligated myself to two bottles of Stagg Jr. Looks like I'll be giving them away. That's what I get for not checking in beforehand.

to everyone having babies and drinking!!

You could probably sell the staggs to someone. I would try it if your going to have it already i guess. You may like it...or like to mix it with stuff. I did not like it....still have a opened bottle and got rid of the others I had. Real hot and not much flavor to go with it like other BP out there.
