Yeah it's not quite the Stitzel Juice they claim it to be. Let's not forget they actually own that name now so they have it all over the bottle. There is some serious marketing hooplah going on to try and make this something it quite isn't. This is Diageo after all.
That being said, I have a bottle of the NAS and I really like it. It's a solid pour for my unrefined tastes. Also I haven't had the 22 year yet but the reviews on that are quite impressive. One guy I really trust put it at one of the best he's had for the year. So if you CAN get over the Diageo marketing crap (which some can't, no big deal) you might want to check it out.

That's about spot on for a Julip.
