Bayou Hit Wings is okay and all but I'm talking classic buffalo wings. I haven't found anything that can rival Pluckers here

Pluckers is trash

Fine then, just tell me what isnt trash. And don't say Fat Harry's either

Fat Harry's is about it. The wings at Blue Oak are great, but not traditional.

Define traditional buffalo wing

I'm not sure if they're considered classic but mid city pizza has some fire wings.

Just straight up, old school buffalo wings man.

Traditional Buffalo Wings consists of the Drumette and Flat (Wingette) sections of a whole chicken wing deep fried until very crisp, then tossed in a mixture of 1 stick real butter and 1 cup Frank's Original Hot Sauce.
If there is a place in NOLA that makes them in this manner, I've not found it so far.

Strangely not the Anchor Bar, the buffalo wing's point of origin. They moved from using Frank's to branding their own sauce. Not a bad sauce by any stretch but not what was coming out of the kitchen for years.
Try Duff's Famous Wings in Buffalo or Wagner's in Lockport NY if you somehow find yourself in upstate NY (and if you do for more than a couple of days, it's time to start asking yourself some hard questions, but try a beef on weck before you leave).
In NYC, The Old Town Bar in Manhattan on 18th St does a credible plate of classic wings as does Dan & John's Wings on the LES along with Bonnie's Grill in Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood.
The best I've ever had hail from the Candlelight Inn in Scarsdale, NY - but what the hell are you going to be doing in Scarsdale, NY?

When/if you find one, post.
So will I.

I have also been on this traditional buffalo wing search.
First, Bayou Hot Wings sucks. As far as traditional, I can only assume you mean deep fried til crispy (not battered).
The closest thing I have found is at The Bulldog.

I really like the hop wings at The Bulldog.
No beer or hops involved just puns. But I think they are top notch classic buffalo wings

The wings at bulldog are legit and classic style

I would guess a place like Cooter Browns would do wings pretty good.

Not sure about traditional buffalo but I had some wings from Chicken & Watermelon that were Obama flavored. They were very good. Have heard Manchu was good.
If I want traditional wings I just end up making some at the house. It's easy and less sketchy than picking some up in the hood after dark.
*It's really a shame there isn't more and better wing options in the city
