I'm going to be in Grapevine next week. Any place there or near there that is can't miss? I don't care if it's a hole in the wall or a 5* restaurant. I also welcome all type of food recommendations.

My last 2 trips to Dallas, I hit up Pecan Lodge and Lockhart's for burnt ends. I highly recommend both places.

Steak- Nick & Sams or Al Biernets-Uptown
Tex Mex-Manny's or Mia's-Uptown
Italian-Carbone's-Oak Lawn
Sushi- Uchi or Kenichi

Don't waste your time on any seafood here.
Words of wisdom. Go to the Glass Cactus at the Gaylord Texan on Saturday night for cougars galore.

It's been years since I've been but there was a bakery on the downtown strip that was phenomenal
It was a really cool little town

ETA it was Main St Bakery

Yea you can walk around main street and find something. Like hitting up the bakery periodically and Tolberts has great chili. Old West cafe is my go to breakfast place.

This. 2013 Pearl Jam concert weekend. I snuck off and went by myself. Place was crawling with them. Gotta be dressed for your A-Game though. They all appeared high maintenance. Very Dallas like. Very plastic.
