Yeah, because as a non socialist, I don't believe that the government should give unfair advantages to out of state corporations in lieu of local independents, thus making it an unfair competitive advantage given by government.

Do you have a learning disability?

What guys? Locals?

Hey, let's try a football analogy.

When a school is found guilty of enticing students to play football for their school with gifts, and others are playing by the rules, we call that cheating and unfair, right?

Well, what if the NCAA were to say that it's OK for say all SEC East schools to do it, but not the SEC West schools. Is that fair? Does that not create an unfair competitive advantage? Would not the rich get richer and poor get poorer until one day, all the SEC West schools just abandoned their football programs entirely because what's the point?

Do you not understand that when a community's government prefers one over the other and gives them gifts that locals don't enjoy that it's a screw job that will ultimately cause locals to say to themselves "why would I risk everything to compete in an unfair playing field that my government got in bed with, and especially when my own neighbors won't even stand up for me, and think anyone who does, or objects to the concept is most probably a socialist?" Why would a local without the backing from huge banks, or even their own government, or basic loyalty from their neighbors do that? Truth is, in our day, it's a very courageous person who does, knowing full well what he's getting into before he starts.

A good enough product is supported no matter what..You think if local Joe the paddle maker was offered a deal with Bass Pro he would turn it down..?

There is a very good reason that some places get richer and some places remain poor and get poorer. We are a prime example of it. There are those who have figured out how to capitalize on your labor (money) and soak you, taking your money and running back to their home state that enjoys it, and leaving your community poorer in the process. Then there are those who have figured it all out. You have a very long way to go, but the first step before all others is for you to realize where your condition (our condition as a community and state) comes from. You either become a community and point of destination, or you remain a truck stop on the road to somewhere else. Your choice... Be like the others in the gutter, or choose to aspire to something greater than that and benefit financially from it in the process in wealth creation as well as funding your basic infrastructure.

Back to the personal instead of the issues presented, or maybe you never left it.

For the record, and other than being one of many who actually live in this area, I have no personal vested interest in it, although as one who does life here, I actually do, because well, I live here, and all of this dictates the environment in which I live. It's similar to me not having to be someone who picks up trash on the side of our roads or cleaning up graffiti on the sides of buildings and overpasses to be concerned with the litter and urban blight.

You just like arguing to argue like so many others, never in discussing issues that affect us all.

Wrap yourself tight in that.

Wait, I'm a hipster now? I thought I was a socialist for not wanting government involvement.

Maybe I'm an Antichrist because Jesus loves Bass Pro and would shop at Walmart and eat at McDonald's.

Man, you are wack. You can't decide what label or box to put me in to demonize me in your failure to or reluctance to address the issues I presented.

I am having trouble with your profile...You started out old man, then I thought maybe early 20s..I thought young black guy, but not so much now because of your fascination with Bass Pro...Now I'm thinking older white male working somewhere you aren't crazy about, but its only because your own business didn't work out
