All of the mugs have nickel, stainless steel or food lacquer lings.

Maybe the better ones are but most of the popular ones being ordered on Amazon aren't.

1st pic a fake, silver on the inside , not copper

as far as the trend...it might be...don't much care

if you like it, go for it, just make sure its real uncoated copper, which will stain and no longer look purty

not sure if the rooskies fill it with VODKA or beer...

Bravo.

And I enjoy mules. The more expensive ginger beer makes a huge difference. Never had the alcoholic kind tho

If you put 7 Moscow Mules in copper mugs on a treadmill going 288 miles per hour in reverse will the plane take off? Bonus question: what does the stewardess do with the extra dollar?

you'll use less fuel and get there in half the time on your car trip for sure.

(ex: popularity of engagement rings long ago due to a company trying to boost diamond sales and not cause it's a tradiition).

food and drink corporations do that crap too, and the media plays along...

at our expense...

It's more tradition than anything else.

Nope....it's from Scotland. They sell it at Safeway and any BevMo and Total Wine and most large liquor stores.

Look it up online.

When the mule trend got really big a few years ago, some bars charged a deposit or held your ID to ensure the return of the copper mug. Customers were stealing the hell out of them.

I got mine the honest way at World Market.
