Whats a good size

for a crawfish boiling pot. Is 60L big enough to boil one sack at a time?

i have an 80 and i am about to upgrade to a 120 ... get at least a 100 or 120

80qt for one sack (35#) corn,potatoes, ect
100qt for 1.5 sacks.
120qt 2 sacks.

Get the biggest you can financially swing. 120 qt + is what I would recommend. You can always cook smaller in a big pot, but having to do multiple batches is a pain in the arse when you're forced to because of small pots.

Actually, the 80 is my favorite. Small crowd, a sack at a time is plenty, bigger crowd, I keep two pots going-one is being eaten while the other soaks-keeps a steady supply of hot crawfish coming.

At least 100. You can just not fill it with complete if you want to boil less. It's a good manageable size and not too much more money. Check out Academy or drive down to Pierre Part store.

I have two 100 aluminums with baskets. I also have a 140 stainless steel with stainless steel basket and I risk a ruptured disk even when it is empty. I don't use it much anymore since it weighs as much as a small car.
