Taking fast-food places off the table, which stand alone restaurant makes most money in BR?

My money is on Superior Highland, Chimes (campus location), or Ruth’s Chris. Never been to Supper Club, so have no idea how crowded it is on a normal basis.

Chimes and Superior are probably pretty good guesses

Superior Highland

this is basically a social club where people pay a premium to be seen there, regardless, it is always packed, so I would guess this as well

Per capita, I would throw DiGiulio in. Hour+ wait most nights. Decent lunch crowd.

But it’s small so overall dollars won’t beat out the big ones.

It’s Walkons. They have $100,000+ days during game days and they make over $7MM a year. (And those are the numbers I know from 10 years ago. They probably make more now).

Making money, but not exactly by selling food.

Chimes East does more than Highland.

Yep. And Ruth’s Chris may make more per seating than others, but they don’t do near enough volume to make the most in the city.

But oddly enough, tips are higher at Highland.

Are you talking total profit or just profit margin %?

If we're talking margins, it has to be Superior. Cheap tequila, cheap mix, $17+ when it isn't happy for a large. Overpriced mediocre tex mex guaranteed to make you spend $100+ if you buy drinks/apps/entrees for a minimum party of two.

Has it been confirmed that the use Everclear in their margs or was that just a rumor to explain how trashed people get off their drinks?

Interesting, would not have guessed that with gamedays in the fall as well as all the other LSU sports events on top of being at the north gate of campus where 30k kids go to school

For the same reason I don't go there anymore, besides the fact that the quality has taken a nosedive.
