Meatloaf and greens were my go to. But I always ordered a whole Meatloaf (call ahead) and pint of greens to go. Did my own potatoes and corn.
Made sandwiches with the leftover meatloaf.

I've eaten there twice in the last 10 years. The breakfast was great, especially for the value.

I had an old nostalgia kind of feel going on and got the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. They were horrible. Over salted crap.

If he were going there and wanted that kind of food I would suggest Lamberts from what I've been told.

Lambert's is absolutely terrible. Everything is mediocre and the sides all seemed to come from a can. I didn't have to wait but 10 minutes, thank God. They just herd people in and dish out slop.

I dont know why that place gets so much hate, I've never had anything bad there. I change it up a lot, Its not often I get the same thing two times.

I've had their breakfast before about 10-15 years ago. Saw a billboard for the chicken fried steak and went recently for lunch. Not the best decision.

The CFS was bad and the "gravy" was like spackling paste. Surprisingly, the kale and broccoli side was pretty good.

Their meatloaf is what I got tonight. Got it with green beans and mashed tatots. It was fantastic. Biscuits and cornbread were spot on as well.

Blueberry pancakes if you can't avoid going there. I went to one in VA a couple weeks ago and sat on the porch while waiting 15 mins for a table.....every single person entering or exiting was overweight. Even the children! And I don't mean pudgy.....
