This popped up on my phone alert and I thought it was Whataburger. Is Wahlburgers any good?

Never been. There's a reality TV show named after it ... so there's that.

for a minute there it felt like we were getting new burger places every week... im not sure we need 2 more, but i wont say that its felt as over the top in offerings as i thought it would be.

If I had to guess one will be uptown, maybe Freret Street, the other would be near Canal St.

I was thinking one would be in the Poydras area and definitely one in Metairie. Metairie lives for this shite.

Think they'll be able to hang tough in this market ?

Been to original in Boston, if I had to compare, similar to Smashburger, but overall better.

Interesting to see what burger they create for New Orleans market - maybe something like the Cajun Blaze.

Peter Boulet from Crowley created one of the greatest burgers ever, The Cajun Blaze. Damn them Moodys, they killed the golden goose in the late 90's by going CHEAP. R.I.P. Burger Tyme !

I worked at the Burger Tyme on Johnston around 1990. The Cajun Blaze and Bon Temps Poulet were awesome. They'd be doing well today with the resurgence of Burgers in Lafayette.
