Velvet cactus lakeview

The cactus is a pretty big letdown for food. Not horrible, but just not all that good.
Go for drinks and appetizers on the awesome courtyard.

Not far away russels is good for breakfast. Maple in west end is good. Coming soon is brisbis and blue crab

Worst salsa ever, bad food, horrible managers, just nothing at all good to say about that place.

I think its good tex mex. it's hard to screw up fajitas, and the food quality is good for the price. chips and dip may be the best thing they do though. Definitely a great place to drink and enjoy good weather.

There are a lot of food options on Harrison. I'm a fan of reginellis pizza and koz's makes a good poboy. I pick up from Lakeview deli (I think they changed the name to something else, though) from time to time too, but I find the prices are high for what you get. I prefer to do steak at home, but if you like steak houses steak knife is nice option to have in the hood.

With the grocery and gas station, you rarely hav to leave. Welcome.
