I like to make a beer batter for my onion rings.


also, if you put one scoop of melted ice cream in the batter, it's awesome.

I don't know. Given their water content, the texture might change after thawing.

Why would you want to freeze them? Don't try and reinvent the wheel.

I'm not. I was thinking if the idea was to simply make them cold then I could do that in the freezer and then the batter would sticky easily. Because the rings wouldn't be wet.

Idk. Is that just crazy talk.

Maybe not fully freeze them. Just thrown in for a few minutes while you get the grease to temp
