For its second year, the free festival will move to Woldenberg Park on the riverfront and run two days, Sept. 23-24. Woldenberg Park has nearly five times more space than Lafayette Square. The organizers are planning for 100,000 attendees over two days.

All vendors will be required to have a minimum number of commercial fryers. And the vendors must start cooking an hour before the gates open to the public. Spears hopes that at least 10 of the vendors will come from cities and bring their own regional styles to the Fried Chicken Festival.

They're also gonna bring in vendors from Los Angeles, New York and Houston.

Last year was a mess, but I'm going to be giving it another shot this year.

My friends that went said the crowds were fine. The vendors were just overwhelmed.
The shite wasn't free so why would you worry about a shitty kind of crowd? LOL
