Thanks, and I do need to just try some different ones.

And, maybe, just maybe...read about a few before you buy them.

See, the last three pages is what a beer thread should look like.

That crap is terrible. It doesn't even taste like an IPA.

I haven't read all 11 pages but I'm assuming this is an OT vs FBD crew thread?

Speaking of this brewery anyone know what happened to Grace and Grit? Don't see it on their website anymore.

That was one fine DIPA.

It was great but they turned it into a stout.

Wrought Iron is one of the worst beers I've ever had. Two sips then drain pour.

I wanted to like it. So far, the only fruit beers I can stand from them are Purple Haze and the blueberry. I pretty much hated the rest.

You most have gotten a really old one. Cause i didn't find it too be all that bad, in fact pretty drinkable. Although I haven't had it since it was first released.

Wrought Iron is pretty good when fresh, but it falls off pretty quickly. Their drink by dates are pretty laughable. It's either 5 or 6 months from bottling. In reality, it should be about 45 days given how fast it falls off.

And I don't mind Big Easy IPA either. But it should be canned. Session IPAs in bottles are just dumb.

session IPAs are supposed to be easy drinking, low ABV beers, which typically are the type of beer people like drinking en masse or near the water

cans make both easier and/or safer

All of this. Session IPAs make for great pool/beach/tailgate beers, and glass is typically frowned upon, if not downright outlawed, at those kinds of places.

They are missing the boat here. It would be a really good tailgate beer if it was canned.
