What you got??

For me currently its:

1. Original Thai/Lao Asia Market on Cavalcade (not the new on the down the road)
2. Songkran in Uptown Park (kinda more upscale but still pretty damn good)
3. Thai Pepper

Not a thai expert at all, but Nidda Thai isn't bad.

Vieng Thai is my favorite but the place is an absolute shithole. Fortunately, I live close enough so I do take out.

I work in the Willowbrook area and recently discovered Mint Thai Kitchen. Only been twice but I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes.

Went to Songkran last night. Not very crowded and I was placed in the middle of the restaurant. Sat there for 10-15 minutes while being ignored by the entire wait staff, so got up and left. Ended up eating at the wine bar next door.

Check out Panang Thai Cuisine just a little bit down 1960. Best I can remember around this side.

I spent a while over in Singapore and Thailand for work and in Houston nothing comes remotely close to the authenticity as Kanomwan

It will change your life

I'd agree with Thai Gourmet. Thai Cottage isn't bad either.

Also, drive 90 minutes East to Thai Cuisine in Beaumont. Go to the location near the hood.

I'm pretty sure I've been there and didn't think much of it. Maybe I'm thinking of a different place but if it's the place I'm thinking, go to Thai Mint and report back...

Asia Market

Go to Foreign Correspondents if you're interested in trying Thai food that's influenced more from the northern part of Thailand.
