Looking for a Resturant for wife's birthday. Would like a place with a tasting/chef menu with numerous courses. Any suggestions?

If you have enough time out and want to really make it special, make a "romantic" trip down to NOLA.

August and a hotel room.

You're welcome

Try Nino's. We did a tasting menu there last year with a group of friends. It was amazing! Someone else set it up but I do think you have to call a good bit in advance.
I believe it was 7 courses with a wine pairing.

I've heard great things about this. I want to say Gris Gris said you get to pick what is on the menu.

Also.. Latil's Landing at Houmas House has a tasting menu. It isn't in BR, but it is only like 30 minutes away.

The chef did ask us for recommendations of things we liked and didn't like and he based the menu off of that. It was really outstanding.

I have done this a couple times, not cheap but the food is great and the grounds are incredible. I recommend getting there an hour before dinner and hitting the Turtle bar and walking the grounds...

We did commanders chefs table for her 30th last year. Best meal I've ever had.

Have to stay in BR this year. Looks like ninos is my best bet.
