I had a wild boar sausage dish from them at Slow Food Fall Heat last Sunday and it was unbelievable.

Hell, it used to be $19. Guess they got the hint.

it was $19... my wife got it last week - bun was significantly larger that the overcooked patty. too many better burgers in BR to pay for that one.

glad they changed it up. some things they do very well and some they do not. last thursday night there were 3 tables in the restrnt at 7pm.

curious to how they are doing?

Are you suggesting they're not doing well? Better not do that. You might get a tongue lashing. Better to pump the sunshine.

I'm a fan of broken rice so I believe I'll go try the oxtails. Do they cook the rice like risotto?

Rest of the menu is pretty much like all the new restaurants. I'd probably like the vegetarian squash.

I'm sticking to Five Guys for my burger.

The oxtail dish wasn't any good. Had it tonight. The "broken rice" was somewhere between porridge and glue, the gravy was great but the veggies were so small that they became soft in texture, the oxtail tasted great, but was soft and gelatinous (as it should be). The dish was too many soft components and not pleasant on the palate albeit the flavors were there. They ran out of deviled eggs too and put angostura bitters in a sazerac which I politely requested to be omitted...that'll mess up a drink. I see a lot of potential but want something more adventurous. It seems like the menu was lacking any true creativity on starters and pressed me not to order anything more than an entree. They offered 2 desserts off menu, a donut bread pudding and sweet potato cake that gave me a big yawn. Give me a panna cotta or something at least and diversify with fresh farmer veggies from covey rise. I wish them luck but they are a great idea with below par food delivered. Restaurant did have a decent crowd tonight though.

Big fan of chimmichurri on flat iron or skirt steaks. I'll go anywhere that serves that shite
