Sushi Gen on Line is open 11:00am-10:00pm seven days/week. Best in town IMO.

Thanks, Guys. Sushi Gen was the one I'd spotted, but I needed to know if it was good. Casual dress is okay, I'd assume?

Tokyo is above average and pretty tasty, but not in the same realm as sushi gen or sushiko.

I've been very disappointed the last couple of times at Tokyo. The hibachi is fine, but quality of sushi was unimpressive to me.

Sushi Gen is the best all around. I prefer Sake Sushi when it comes to just sushi or sashimi - best prices and freshest fish imo - but everything else there is pretty average, so I seldom recommend it since most people actually mean "rolls" when they ask for sushi.

Agree with Sushiko, just never make it out to the Boardwalk. On purpose.

We are sashimi/nigiri guys mostly...Mrs. O will order a shrimp dish from the menu. Sushi Gen still the best choice, or Sake Sushi?

I'd still go Sushi Gen if you've got a group and want to have a good dinner - don't get me wrong, Sushi Gen is every bit as fresh as Sake, but as you can see from the online menu, it's pricier. But Sushi Gen also has the better overall menu and is the better dining experience, especially for a group.

I really only go to Sake when I'm ready to pound fish and don't care about anything else.

I was thoroughly unimpressed by sake sushi. Maybe it's changed in the 2+ years since I lived there, but I did not like it.
