recently opend off college dr, shitty location but ten times better than Voodoo BBq. You get a shitload of food for under 10$. The owner is also the cook and since its a new place they need help getting their name out. I think this place has huge potential its just in a terrible location.

It's in that shopping center across from Great Wall/Walmart. It's between that Exxon and Hancock bank. Good luck turning left into there.

Skip, what's the deal with the name of that place? Who names a restaurant suckers?

Their chicken on a stick is what they call suckers, they started out selling "suckers" out of a trailer in parking lots around BR then opened a store, they sell boudin stuffed whole chickens and sausages pre-packed. They cater too

Back in that eyesore shopping center or in the center's lot on the road?

Just to warn people, for the second time (see recent thread on Suckers), their bbq is saturated in a thick sauce when it comes out. It wasn't bad, but Couyon's and VooDoo are better. The beans were average, as was the coleslaw.

Not the larger shopping center with the Hobby Lobby, there is a smaller shopping center, almost hidden that is between the Exxon station and Hancock Bank.

They just recently put up a sign with flashing strobe lights on the road, sure they will be asked to take that down shortly

I think he was talking about a very specific item, pork chops or something.

Most of their items are around 10 dollars. Good stuff.

Bump. I've tried a few different items on their menu by now and they are all awesome.

VooDoo can't touch this place imo. Hopefully they stay alive in such a difficult location.
