Took the wife there a year and a half ago. Appetizers and drinks are excellent. Server was kind of a smug prick and my steak was bad. I shouldn't have to cut the filet (medium rare) hard enough to make my plate shift around.
We have since gone back to Fleming's and Mansur's. Haven't been back to Stroube's.

I have to echo the above. Service was so bad I refuse to return. Dropped off our steaks and left. We didn't have silverware. I ended up going into the kitchen and getting some. Staff just looked at me strange. Pretty messed up.

I was there a few weeks ago and had an excellent steak au poivre and the server was awesome.
I didn't particularly love the turtle soup, though. It was a bit too murky in flavor for my tastes. It wasn't terrible, though.

I haven't had the turtle soup since the chef changed, but several years ago, I enjoyed it. But it's been 3+ years since I've been in.

This is pretty spot on. Drinks/Apps are always on point but there's been something wrong with our entree both times I've been over the past year and a half or so.

Walk down the street to Little Village. It's gotten much better in the last two years although I eat there at lunch more often than dinner. Decent enough wine list priced right.

Why do people give reviews of a place they haven't been too in several years. I think the question was "Who's Been Lately" Otherwise review is worthless.
