All I do now.

cook alot of steaks and bringing to room temp yields a much better result than cooking cold. I even used the microwave method last night.

Again, I usually still do but I think it is bullshite.

Maybe we should have a few independent tests. You buy.

I'm not. That is solid info. I was about to go buy a chicken to roast but a bone in ribeye sounds pretty god-damn good. Unless sirloin is on sale.

Dont remember if the sirloin was, but they do have quality bone in ribeyes which they normally jack up to about $12-13/lb.

6 bucks for a pound of delicous fatty and juicy steak? Yes please.

They served you a sirloin? Their Brooklyn menu doesn't list the cuts.

Alright alright now we're talking.

I've read that some people marinade their steak in beer to make it more tender- ever try that before using the salt/pepper? I'm worried soaking it in beer for a couple hour might draw out flavor.

You have to be trolling, right?

I searched, and you are full of shite. Lugers absolutely doesn't sell sirloins and you made that shite up. Nice job, truth rarely matters anyway.
