Heading to the Springfield and Branson areas for work this week. I have never been. Anyone recommend any good lunch or dinner spots?
Not sure if I'll catch any shows, country music isn't really my thing. Thanks...

I asked my parents since they go every year. Here's some feedback.

Dannas BBQ

Black Oak American grill

Also Dairyland is a classic old school diner there that has great burgers and ice cream

Vaskens is an international deli that has great lunches

Also if it's all grown ups and you want more of a date night- Level 2 steakhouse on main st apparently is legit

They also said expect tons of family themed restaurants and chains. It's majority seniors and families so they have lots of old school sizzler/bonanza type of places that serve steaks with a salad and dessert bar

There are some good spots though, you just have to dig.
