Just came back from getting takeout at Louisiana kitchen. Grabbed a thigh out of the box on the way home, because it smelled so good.

I always get spicy and it's ok, but now it really is spicy.

*fistbump*

Haven't tried KFC Nashville.

Nashville hot chicken is a different bird, pardon the pun! It's just hot without the accompanying flavor profile of most LA cuisine . Most people either love it or hate it. No middle ground.

Whaaaa? First of all, it's not even that hot. Popeye's is most definitely spicier. Second, it has some kind of smokiness to it. I like both.

I have not tried KFC's spicy stuff. Popeye's is ok.

I prefer KFC's original recipe over anything Popeye's has, though.

I was referring to Nashville hot chicken in general not specifically from KFC. It's a different style with hot oil infused with cayenne, garlic, brown sugar spooned over the fried chicken

An aside, I am not affiliated in any way whatsoever with these franchises.

Popeye's has a coupon sheet to benefit MDA for $1.

I am also not affiliated with, nor do I know anybody with muscular dystrophy.

I have to go to the "other side of town" for RBR and spicy chicken.

KFC does nothing community wise compared to CFA.

I'm shorting YUM.

I tried the KFC hot chicken, and wasn't expecting much. Still disappointed. Not much flavor and almost no heat at all.

Popeyes spicy is much better.

Wendy's ghost pepper sauce chicken was pretty good and very spicy.

Popeye's is way better. KFC NHC was not good to me. Maybe a local store issue but I will take Popeye's spicy any day over KFC.

KFC sucks here - every few months I get a real hunger for Popeye's and drive an hour to the closest franchise in Johnson City, Tn
