I actually just saw that recipe last Friday when I was looking for dinner ideas, and I said the same thing. It is really pretty, and looks delicious.

The flavors sound great for salmon.

God I want to make that, but here is why I can't:

1. Nowhere in my city sells blood oranges.
2. Fresh dill?
3. Fennel bulb? See. on No. 2.

So basically, I can't make a dish I would love to eat because I have shite for options for good ingredients.

Use a navel orange. You can also use dried dill in place of fresh or grow your own. You don't have stores that sell fresh herbs in the little plastic containers?

Nowhere in the Mecca sells fennel? Do you not have an Albertson's there?

ETA Don´t know about the chilies, however.

Actually the new Wal-Mart may. I haven't been there yet. I've never seen fresh fennel in any other store I've been to.

Wally World has herbs. I don't shop there but rarely, but I know I've seen them.

Sometimes, fennel is in the organic veggie sections of stores.
