He could copy the Champs or Walk Ons concept and sell good food with drink specials and easily stay busy because there isn't much else over there that stays packed other than Sammys. You need good food and service.

Add Sushi to that and he's got just about all the bases covered.

We probably know each other.

All he has presently is an 8 tap system, but he'll have bottles and cans of course.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Well, to be honest, a Champs or a Walk-On's would be a step up in Prairieville and many of the people would gorge the cheese fries.

Every restaurant can't be 5 star food

Nobody is asking for 5 star food, but walk-ons is absolutely awful.

Looks like it will be open on Monday, sucks since I will be in the area today. Would have liked to stop by and have a beer.

I saw a short list of the beers they were planning on having. If their food is anything like what I think it'll will be from seeing some of the descriptions it'll be a great place to go kill and enviè and watch a game.

Apparently they opened yesterday, but it appears they haven't even created a website. And there isn't any type of write up in the Advocate.

They might want to work on the advertising/PR side of things.

I do not understand restaurants that have no online or social media presence. It baffles me in this day and age. I sure as hell won't drive somewhere when I don't know any semblance of what my options are there.

They did not advertise on purpose. They want to be open for a week or so to work out the kinks before advertising. Website and updated Facebook page are in the works.

If they had advertised, I'm sure it would have been packed and issues with service would have been magnified and been really difficult to diagnose/fix.

If they are good, word of mouth may be the only advertising they need. I go to a place regularly that does not advertise, and, in fact, doesn't even have a sign on the building. A friend of mine suggested to the owner that he should advertise. The owner asked him, "What, do you want a 2 hour wait for a table, instead of a one hour wait?".
