Superior
Oyster Bar
El Patio (locations all over Shreveport-Bossier)

Ki’ Mexico & Pepito XO are both really good, but not traditional Tex Mex, which is probably what they’re looking for.

Ki Mexico
Taqueria Michoacán
El Compadre
Superior
Pepito looks like he's finally getting ready to open his new spot, rekindling the recent unpleasantness that plagued the fair town.

I think Superior is the best bet for a gift card. Cannot go wrong there.

Whenever these Shreveport Mexican restaurants come up, no one ever mentions Trejos. Are they still around?

Only 1 or 2 left. Pepito's mentioned above took the Youree store, Ramirez took the Shreveport Barksdale location, Mansfield Rd was torn down to build the new Chik-Fil-A. Some of the Trejo family have opened El Portrillo (one in Bossier on Airline and one in the old Dudley & Gerald's on E. 70th St.

Ki Mexico is really good but if they want Tex Mex go Superior. I live in Houston and Id have no problem going to Superior if it were close to me.
