Had a shrimp boil the other night and the sausage just came up a bit short. :rimshot:

So, what sausage is best for low country boils? Or did I make a mistake by not doing advance prepping?

The best you will find here is either Savoies or Conecuh.

If you are from Louisiana you should get some local. If not just get some grocery store Kielbasa.

It's good. Had it at WOB the other night. They served it with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Pretty cool.

Better on draft IMO.

No, just regular pork sausage is best IMO.

Hmm. That's what I used and it was bland. Any other suggestions? Or maybe I just had cruddy product.

Not much. Probably grab dinner at the Chart House, go to Kevin Barry's and listen to some Irish crooner, drink beer and car bombs, then attempt the climb that damn hill go back to the room. I may end up bringing the wife though. If so all the above will be scratched.
