Headed to Santa Fe for a few days next month. I'm a big fan of Mexican and tex mex. What you got F and D board?

Firstly: New Mexican is different than anything else, and it's freaking awesome. Where to eat:

- Tomasita's is probably my favorite New Mexican. Food is very good.
- The Shed is also very good. Better ambiance and a longer standing institution than Tomasita's.
- Cafe Pasqual for breakfast/brunch. The huevos motulenos are amazeballs.
- Tesuque Village Market if you go to the Flea or drive out that way.
- You can get a green chili burger from about 10,000 different places.
- The Cowgirl BBQ is kind of an institution as well. Food is a little different than regular New Mexican, but we always have a great time there. Good people watching.
- Have a margarita and watch the sun set on the rooftop of the Bell Tower Bar.
- Maria's has like 100 different margaritas and is in a cool old structure.

Figure out whether you like green chili, red chili, or order stuff "Christmas" which is both green and red. Although I could eat enchiladas every single meal there, don't be afraid to branch out and get some carne adovada, green chile burgers and things of that nature as well.

Santa Fe is one of my absolute favorite dining destination. Enjoy!

The Tesuque Flea Market is great.

Georgia O'Keefe Museum.

Museumm of International Folk Art

Museum of Indian Arts and Culture

There are lots of great drives to do if you're into driving around. Ghost Ranch is O'Keefe's home if your'e into her, and the drive out to it is beautiful.

There's a really cool, low key spa/hot springs called Ojo Calienta that is a lot of fun and inexpensive.

I always drive up to go fishing near the Valles Caldera which takes you through Los Alamos which is a pretty interesting place. Can hit Bandolier National Park in that area as well, and it's very neat.

Arguably my favorite city in the US. It's a concoction of Native American culture, the American Western culture, and Spanish culture.

Check out as many art galleries as possible (some of my favorite art and architecture). Check out Dolona Roberts and Malcom Furlow's work if it is being displayed anywhere. Check out The Flea for a wide range of items.

They have a great, classic movie theatre (French sounding name).

Hogfly gave you some excellent recommendations. I'd add Santa Fe Bite for green chilie burgers, Plaza Cafe and Joseph's for food. Go to Secreto for cocktails. Go to Ohori's for coffee. Make sure and try pinon coffee. Pinon is a pine tree that grows in the New Mexico and Arizona region. It adds a rich, chocolatey aspect to the coffee. They also had something called "Cowboy Coffee" which add hints of chilies in it. It was really awesome. It wasn't overpowering and added a pleasant heat to the sternum after sipping.
