$50 at Chez Francois in Lafayette. I think their sacks are light though.

Anybody know where to get oysters else where in Laffy?

You'll need to call Cpt. Avery's ahead of time to place an order. I believe the truck runs Tuesdays and Fridays.

Got a 1/2 sack from Capt Sid's on Saturday. $47.95 for roughly 85 oysters, nice size, salty.

Best oysters I've run across are Collins in Golden Meadow. Not sure on the price right now.

I had got some at work for $32 a sack. Still a bit skinny. We need some rain and a good cold snap.

Need a good cold front then a strong south wind for a few days, they'll plump up real nice and get salty.

If you are in BR, there is a guy who lives here that has his own beds. He starts fishing them around Veterans Day. Big sack is 50. He will shuck the sack for 100 total.
