Parc Lafayette would have been a better location for their demographics, IMO

I don't agree. While Parc Lafayette is nice (and I love that RR area of Lafayette...), downtown needs a major facelift. It needs to push out the affliction tshirts and add more for young professionals. Happy hour & bowling sounds fantastic. Happy hour @ a bowling alley, even better (nothing beats Fulton Alley on a weekday!)

Oh really? Yeah, it's been about 5 years or so...

I just assumed it hasn't changed because everytime I'm here for the weekend, not a single thing has changed.

All I know is that John Blancher is a smart guy and I'd bet my money on him succeeding. I've talked with a few people involved in this project. I think it will be successful and great for the community.

Does Nite Town even open anymore? I've been at The Wurst several times on Friday and Saturday nights and they never even opened the place. Hell the rest of downtown was fairly dead compared to what it was a few years ago as well. Do they just open it for big weekends now or something?

I clue really but my high school seniors would talk about going out there and prime. I actually saved one of them from getting beat/potentially shot one night while I was sitting in the wurst. He was squaring of in the street with a few dudes and I recognized him and charged out there to grab him. Those young didndus didn't know what to think of me and backed off long enough for me to grab him and go.
I know the guys at wurst wouldn't cry if prime were gone.
