Roasting your own almonds

Anyone do this?
I've been buying raw almonds lately and roasting them. I put them on a cookie sheet in a single layer in the oven for 14 minutes at 350 degrees. They come out ever so slightly overdone, which is how I like them. So much better than buying them already roasted.
The only problem is I can't get salt to stick to them. I've thought about trying olive oil ten salt on top, but I don't want oily almonds. How do you get salt to stick?

I always use margarine, but that also results in an oily product. Maybe try an egg wash then salt.
ETA: in egg whites, that is.

Lay them out on the sheet, and from maybe 12-18 inches away, lightly spray some Pam or other light cooking spray. Salt, then roast. We've done this with pecans, and it works decent. And they don't end up oily.

Get an olive oil based cooking spray and hit them real light, when they are still wet hit them with a little salt.
