Gonna be in Pass Christian with friends in a few weeks and we're looking for a nicer restaurant on the coast. Narrowed it down to Mary Mahoney's, Half Shell, Rack House, and The Chimneys. Thoughts?

Mary Mahoney's isn't as good as it was historically. I prefer Field's right next door.

Not to be confused with Felix's down the road. That place is trash.

yeah considering you are in Pass Christian.

I would stick to BSL. Thorny Oyster is amazing.

if you wanted to travel alittle bit, then White Pillars in Biloxi is equally amazing.

Thorny Oyster for dinner. Lunch crew is not as on point.

200 North Beach has a new chef.

Chimneys is a good spot.

We really like Hook in the Pass, but its a casual spot.

Didn't somebody on the coast get a Beard nomination?

We've done Bacchus before and enjoyed it. Adding White Pillars to the list. Thanks. Appreciate the suggestions!

You're not far from Jourdan River Steamer

Definitely go to Dempsey’s in Kiln. Jourdan River Steamer is excellent there too.

Mary Mahoney’s is a beautiful and historic restaurant. Don’t pass it up. There is a steak house called Field’s next door where I had the worst steak in my life in December. Definitely avoid that place.
