i've actually never been to julia's but have heard good things. there's another place near the circle not named julia's i ate at recently which was as authentic as can be for cenla and pretty damn good.

los portales? i cant think of any other good authentic mexican. let me know when you find out, im curious to try it.
the best authentic mexican is in forest hill, LA in this trailer on hwy 165. i forgot the name but it is awesome. it is setup to feed all of the nursery workers out there.
