I have to take some folks with limited time adjacent to a flight out to eat. Type of food doesn't matter. Someone mentioned Gendusa to me as well as Andrea's.

I know Mosca's isn't THAT close, but I've always wanted to get out there...is it worth it?

TIA

There's not a whole lot.

Closest would be places on Williams like Little Chinatown, or Harbor Seafood and Oyster bar.

I mean, yeah, it's terrible, and that should be the only reason you need, but it's not really close access to the airport to begin with. Hell, there are places in Orleans that are almost as convenient, so I don't even no why it would come into this discussion.

What about Mosca's? I know it's pretty far, but it's also a place I've wanted to get to for years.

How much time are we talking?

Msy is very accessible, no restaurant in the city is out of play technically

You can ride the Huey p to clearview to airline all the way to msy, or to i10. Prob 30 minutes to be safe

Moscas is nowhere near the airport. It's worth the trip, but I dont know your time constraints. Probably a 30-40 minute drive depending on the time of day. Gendusa's is great. less than 5 minutes from the airport. I think they are still byob, but that never bothered me.

Messina's used to be my go-to place but the restaurant was changed to a catering place. They still have a late-night restaurant across the street from the original on Williams but it doesn't open until 4 p.m.

Go to Red Wagon in Hanrahan. A hole in the wall, po boys and daily lunch specials. I had spaghetti and meatballs, vegetable and dessert for under 10 bucks...delicious.
