Went for a birthday celebration at their Sunday brunch. Sipped on some LA-31 Noire during the meal with a nice view

The 5 course brunch started with option of onion rings or shrimp taco. I went with the taco dressed with cilantro, guacamole, red onion, cheese. Very very good. Could have eaten another.

Second course was the turtle soup. Very rich and had a good spice. I'm normally not a fan of red turtle soups (I like the dark brown soups) but this was fantastic.

Third course was a Caesar salad (no pic)

Fourth course I chose the soft shell platter. Two jumbo soft shell crabs with fries.

She got the crab cakes over angel hair with crab mornay sauce.

For the sweets, I chose the pecan pie which was fantastic. Loaded with Bergeron's finest.

App-soup-salad-entree-dessert-bottomless champagne = $35 plus tip.

Please detail the majesty of that layer-cake version of pecan pie.
