Went to Reef on Saturday night for a birthday dinner and thought I'd share my experience. Went with a group of 4 and the menu changes daily so I'm going off memory.

Appetizer's:
Beef Slider's - Very good, caramelized onions were awesome and spicy mayo that came with them was fantastic

Crunchy Calamari - Well done, not a huge calamari person so I don't have much to compare it to. The Pickled Pepper condiment was just ok, not my favorite.

Spring Shrimp Roll - Whatever they put in those things gave them a kick. They were really spicy but also kind of boring. If that makes any sense.

Entree's:
Crispy Skin Snapper - Mother In-Law's Dish
Well cooked not too spicy, came with a grilled peach that was amazing.

Roasted Grouper - Wife's Dish
I always like Grouper and this was no exception but it could have used more seasoning.

Redfish on the half shell w/ Fried Mac and Cheese - My dish
Everyone tried it and said it was the best fish of the night. Spicy but not too over powering. mac and cheese was some of the best I've had.

Desert:
Molten chocolate cake - Cake was dry and too hot, they overcooked it. Felt disappointed.

Milkshake - A little too much alcohol, but it was the birthday gift to our table so we didn't complain. They brought one for each of us. The chef actually brought it to us which was a really nice touch.

I have only been for the happy hour sliders, which were great. I might have to put it on the list for dinner one night. Thanks

I like Reef, and Proof is a good spot for a drink right upstairs.

If they are the same sliders we had for an appetizer, they are awesome. The food was great for the prices. For grilled seafood it's tops on my list right now. (never been to Truluck's)

For fried seafood I go to Goode Co.
