Yeah, didn't it used to be a really nice restaurant? And now its like a buffet? I've heard mixed stories about that place.
And, is it a chain? I swear I heard the name before I moved to BR

That was on Airline. Some older timers may say False River, but it really hit its stride on Airline. By the time Bluebonnet opened, they were already overextending themselves.

It was a family owned place and was similar to Mike Anderson's. They sold to Piccadilly in the late 1980s and it turned to shite pretty fast.

I would definitely eat there if they paid me...

...seriously, though, I have not been since 98 or 99. I remember thinking it was on par with a place like Joe's Crab Shack or Red Lobster....there Are definitely better seafood restaurants in SELA.

Just go right down the road on Bluebonnet and make a left onto Perkins. 1st restaurant on your right, Louisiana Lagniappe. Best seafood restaurant in town.

I'd venture to say with all the guests we seem to be attracting these next few days it would be one of the handful that I would avoid, if for no other reason.

They are great. I love Parrain's, though. I would say they are probably my favorite seafood restaurant in town.

I haven't live in BR in years (it was the early Pleistocene Era), but that's what I remember. I used to eat the crap out of fried crawfish tails.

i guess I always past it and wonder how's it was still open, thinking it must attract SOME type of crowd. Must be hungry , uninformed out of towners
