I'll be down there for the game this weekend. Anywhere in BR that usually has prime briskets? I would like to pick one up before I head back home Sunday. Hard to find up here.

Costco sells prime brisket at a really good price. Don't remember what it is but it's one of the few places you find Prime brisket.

Don't have a Costco membership, unfortunately. We don't have that up here either. We suck.

I bought a prime brisket at Costco last weekend for $3.49 a pound. I think I paid $2.99 a pound for one a couple of years ago. (If LSU starts off the season in Texas -- or is supposed to start the season in Texas -- I like to cook brisket).
You have any friends or family with Costco memberships who could just get you one and you pay them back?

Don't need one baw. I think you can buy yourself a Costco "Gift card" and they will let you in to shop with it.

Yep and if you call them and tell what size you want they will get it for you. Might be too late in the week for this game but they will do it.

My wife will buy prime but I normally just buy big packers and rarely have problems. But she's the brisket cooker of the family not me. I'm the pork butt guy.

I've eaten their brisket inside their restaurant.

Negative.
