I seem to remember a recent post with music, kid friendly etc. I've searched and searched without luck. We like Jessie's in Magnolia Springs but a place for a 3 yr old to run around after 3 hrs in the car is more ideal.

I'm familiar with Cobalt. I think I need a place between I10 an the beach.

Are you asking for places to eat lunch on the way to GS, or places in GS?

If it is places in GS, there is only one place for lunch, The Grape Escape. website

It is a retired couple from New Orleans, GREAT sandwiches and salads. Its a hole in the wall.

Looking for places on the way to GS after exiting I10, but not all the way to the beach. Break up the drive a bit. Stopped at Jessie's last couple of years, but somewhere more conducive for a 3yr old to move around a bit is ideal before finishing off the drive. Not lulu's/hangout etc

I thought I bookmarked a thread with an outdoor area with music etc I saw mentioned here, but apparently I didn't.

It is two exits past the GS exit (5 minutes), but the Oasis Travel Center in Robertsdale is SUPER cool!!! I have never eaten there, so I don't know if food is any good, but the diner is cool as shite. It is decorated in different styles, train, airport, Route 66, etc.

Google it and look at the pics, its called "Derailed Diner"

Nooooooo. It's one of the top 5 shitty places I've ever eaten. And I've eaten at some shitty places. I'm being serious, it's horrible

Thats why I stated I have never eaten there. We stopped to take a piss. You have to admit, it is one of the coolest places to visit in that area. It is sensory perception over load.
