I use anuts.

It's great, but don't know if there are better options prize/quality wise. I'm content with what I get

Southside Produce is a great place to get berlin' peanuts.

My dad use to go and take his time picking out individual peanuts. MFer would spend 20 minutes getting a few pounds of peanuts to boil

Your best bet is to go to the farm and buy them in bushel sacks. They freeze well, and you'll have plenty to share.

I bought a few pounds at Southside Produce on Perkins Monday. They had a huge supply of them when I was there.

Either one will work fine, but if you use green peanuts (raw peanuts that have not been air dried yet) they will require a longer boil time.

Hi-Nabor has them for 2.49 Lb.
Is that a good price?

Oak Point in Watson has 5lbs sacks of green peanuts. Southern Produce in Denham Springs usually has them too.

For those Georgia fans traveling to Athens, a guy named Steve sells the best boiled peanuts IMO in Georgia. He is located on GA 83 next to an old well.

He only shows up after 11:00 AM or so. He sells the red peanuts, not the white ones that you have to dig them out with your front teeth.

I am a connoisseur of food that is prepared on the side of the road.
