It was next to Canes at S Harrells Ferry right? The concrete slab is still there.

Don't think they were there at the same time. Pasta Garden closed before the Cane's was built. Same spot though.

I used to work there near the end. I think Giovanni was bought out of it for the road expansion. It was dying anyway.

I miss it. Worked there for almost 3 years and never got tired of the food.

It was next to where Canes is now. Not in the exact same spot. A Texaco gas station was where canes is now.

Actually it was a Shell gas station. And the crawfish fettuccine at Pasta Garden was my go to. Always had some left to take home.

Shell was and is still across the street. You sure it wasn’t a Texaco?

The one across Sherwood was a Chevron at the time.

Before that it was a Pizza Hut. As a kid I used to ride my bike there and pump quarters into their tabletop PacMan machine.

Mid 90s we used to eat at Pasta Garden once a week. I loved those table top games. Sicily's pizza by Cartana mall used to have a table top Dig Dug that was awesome.

I think 95% of my family’s birthdays in the 80s and 90s were either here or at Pancho’s

Had totally forgotten about Sicily’s

I bought their cookbook before it closed. Still thankful I did.

Yes. We went to Pasta Garden often. The salad with noodles was great. The fried cheese was essentially a deep fried cheese sandwich -- yum. Giovanni ran the eponymous restaurant off Highland, correct? Loved that place, too.

Correct. Close to where the new Superior Grill is now, I believe.

Nope. Pizza Hut building is now Pelican Pawn. And while we are at it the Podnuhs was originally a Hardees.

I remember it being called Boudreaux’s and maybe one other restaurant before it became a pawn shop
