You're right just like New Belgium, if it's new and gets hype then it must be good. Sorry to disappoint you.

Why doesn't New Orleans sell parish brewing anywhere?

Just looked at their facebook and it shows that they have Farmhouse IPA at Avenue Pub, both of the Bulldogs, and Canseco's Esplanade Market. Tomorrow it will be in Stein's Deli, Whole Foods on Veteran's, and Breaux Mart Magazine.

I thought it was very good, more citrus than pine......smoother than say a Ranger but good. I bought 5 and quick cooled one so I'll save the rest and let them sit.

I thought very good though.

I didn't give it the Tetu treatment but I wouldn't buy again.

I had my bottle just now and thought it was an awesome Belgian style beer. Hoppy and awesome yeast flavored going on. Clean and bright.

I can only imagine how dumb I must have looked to bystanders driving around the construction and trying to open the door

at least I came away with my bottle

So you wanted it more hoppy, less hoppy? More pine? I'm interested in what was not impressive about an IPA.

You like NOLA Hopitulas? Sierra Nevada IPA? Ranger?

Holy carbonation batman! Pretty fine tasting beer. Reminds me of green flash's le freak but with a fuller body and more flavor. Much closer to a Belgian style blonde than an IPA. Nice, slightly bitter finish, though.

I think I expected more. While its not bad i found it not "hoppy" enough. I guess I'm not huge on the carbonation either. It's certainly drinkable, but it wouldn't be my go to ipa.

Only reason I was expecting more is because I don't really like wheats that's much but like Canebrake.

Thanks for the heads up. Wish I had read this earlier, we live less than a 1/4 mile from cansecos. I'll definitely pick some up tomorrow.

FYI to anyone in BR, hit calandros at around 845 and they had 9.5 cases out (Perkins @ Seigen). 12.99/per 750ml. Haven't cracked it open yet, drinking a stone first but will review.

I had a few cups at the Bugs and Brew event several weeks back. I remember it being pretty good so I will try to pick some up tomorrow if I remember.
