Pamplona Tapas

After visiting the Parish Brewery Tap Room, we drove back though Laffy. Hungry we used Open Table and found Pamplona Tapas Downtown. Looking like slobs, we let them put us outside. The waiter started out snobby but he lightened up. We didn't know what we wanted so we asked him to bring us things he was proud to serve.

Cut to the chase. It was fantastic. I won't try to describe it all but the 4 of us ran up $125 worth of great food, sherry, port, and dessert. $35 tip for the excellent choices the waiter made.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Lafayette, easily in my top three.

+1

This and Bread & Circus get pretty much 100% of my dining spend when I'm in lafayette.

Pamplona is awesome, my favorite restaurant in Lafayette. Also the best bar in the city IMO

The two or three tables outside are the best.

I really wish they would open a B.R. location, preferably on Government Street. That would make bank.

I've been trying to get (slightly) better about how much I spend eating out. This would cause me to fail miserably.

The paella is very good, but it's a very big dish, so unless I'm with a large group, I generally pass on it so I can have more small plates.

Love the place. Their lunch specials are really good and only $10.
