anybody been?
wife and i ate there tuesday night
very comfortable and nicely appointed
service staff was incredible
one of the best wine lists ive seen, descriptions of each bottle
we had the chicken tamale, crazy good
the steamed mussels, outstanding
tomato salad w/crabmeat
braised quail, outstanding
dessert & coffee (caramel corn is a must have)
really enjoyable evening, and we didnt even get to the entree's, will try some next visit
highly recommended
we live in hammond and always go to del porto for the big evenings, oxlot 9 is every bit as good

I've been for drinks and had some Small plates while there. I thought it was pretty good and will probably try and eat a full meal there next time I'm in town.

I didn't like the accoustics of the place as I left there not being able to hear for a day or so. The wife loved it when we went, which was four or so months ago. We never think about going back for some reason. Glad you had a nice experience there.
