My wife and I went there this afternoon for lunch. Although Fitzmorris pitches this place for it's cheap specials, like the Des Allemands catfish for $9.99 on Wednesday, it's a little pricier than that, especially if you order one of their "Specialties".

We got the Oysters Sauvage for an app and both had the Bayou Stack as an entree. The oyster dish was fantastic! Melted brie with bacon over fried oysters with French bread slices.

The Bayou Stack was similar, with a stack of blackened redfish, eggplant medallion and a crab cake over angel hair pasta with crawfish cream sauce.

Anybody have thoughts about this place? Our bill was $72 before tip.

It's called Bistro Orleans. I love it.
