O Charley's in Lafayette Closed

They closed their door last night after dinner service. The employees had no idea this was coming.

I never ate there. I have zero reason to go to corporate places like that.

Interesting logic but I am sure they can find employment at one of Lafayette's other 10,000 restaurants within 1 mile of this place.

Only bummed for nostalgia's sake. That's where my wife and I went for our first date.

Food was not good at all though...

Was kind of an upscale Golden Corral. Nothing wrong with that. It provided a place for people to go.

Was referring to the kitchen staff. They don't hire the highest quality people back there. Convicts, drug dealers, perverts...

They have a decent tomato basil soup and the burgers aren't terrible. That's all I got.

There are so many freaking chain restaurants there now with the Costco development. Can't say ive ever been the least bit tempted to try o'Charley's
