i had an incredible meal at kenton's, i would definitely rank it very high. compere lapin is a place ive not been, sounds like i need to soon

I think its better than Kenton's, and I do like Kenton's and have been there a few times. Definitely better value, as I think Kenton's is a bit overpriced.

Ate here last time I was in town and the food was great, but the service was the worst I have experienced anywhere. To the point that I don't really have a desire to go back.

Agreed. Visited Kenton's last summer shortly after it opened. Abysmal experience. Somehow it remains on all the "hot lists." Maybe it's time to give it another shot.

I have had two fantastic meals at Compere Lapin and plan another in the next couple of weeks.
Interesting food served in a very casual space. The Michelopolous art on the walls is a nice touch though.

I have enjoyed both kentons and Compere -- different experiences but i wouldnt put a large gap in the quality of those.
