Grew up in NOLA. Moved away after Katrina but frequented restaurants when visited.

When I lived there worked in CBD and ate everywhere: Commander's chef table, Bayona, August, Fins, Galatoires, Broussards, etc etc.

When we visited once we moved would go to Peche, Domenica, and newer fare.

My wife is headed there for a conference and a new job and boss is hitting her up for some recs. What are some good spots down there in the Warehouse, CBD, or Quarter. Anything new that is a must try?

If you had to name 5 spots what would you pick?

Staying away from what you listed, we've had consistently great meals at the following lately.

Le Petite Grocery
Chemin A Le Mer
Clancys
Pêche
Pice of Meat

I saw Dakar Nola opened last night.
I am very tempted to see the reviews that come out of there in the next few weeks.
